BEHIND THE SCENES: These guys play an awesome set! I met them the previous year at a gig in Kansas City and have kept in touch ever since. Kevin and I were childhood playmates, according to our parents. I have no recollection of this and I doubt he does either. Anyway, this particular show was especially memorable as I found out later one of the guys was bitten by a brown recluse spider. I hope that won't deter them from coming back to Kansas...
