BEHIND THE SCENES: My first attempt at particle animation. The Skittles were created in Digital Fusion, a special effects compositing program. DF is excellent for creating candy in the sky, and any other 'weather' condition you can dream up. The video was shot against a blue bedsheet. I don't recommend keying anything this way. For starters, wrinkles cause shadows and shadows can't be keyed as smoothly as areas of uniform light. It causes all sorts of problems during editing, takes up a ridiculous amount of time to fix, and in the end, you're fooling nobody! Learn from my mistake, friends! Take your time with the setup! You won't regret it...
