BEHIND THE SCENES: Inspired by all those medicine commercials claiming to relieve painful symptoms while simultaneously creating new ones. Compositing a sky in the final shot wasn't the original plan, but the white wall and treadmill behind me made for a pretty bland and boring backdrop. I thought I was saving time by going in manually frame-by-frame to accomplish the effect rather than reshooting against a green/blue screen. I also thought that the time spent meticulously tracing around my body hundreds of times would result in a more convincing and precise illusion. Wrong and wrong!
