BEHIND THE SCENES: As luck would have it, we ended up filming this on the coldest day in January. Not just a little chilly, but paralyzing COLD. This presents a couple problems: 1. A strong desire to hurry up and finish [which can be a hard urge to resist when you can't feel your face] 2. Unlimited opportunities for ice slippage [it's amazing how quickly priorities shift when this happens. I'll take the pain of a fall over a crack in my lens anyday!]
Thank GOD for such a great cast! Anita Cordell and her daughter Haley were only wearing bathrobes and pajamas during this entire ordeal. And Jon Weimer, sitting patiently in that cold metal chair in between takes. They had to have been cursing my existence at some point, but thankfully, everyone was very sweet and professional!
